Definitions Hobbies – Radio Controlled
As a newcomer to the world of radio controlled hobby, people describe many products have been confused with abbreviations. Here's a guide to help you understand the terms used frequently.
Radio Control, Radio Controlled, often abbreviated as R / C or RC:
Only the use of radio signals from one device to control. Transmitters send a signal of a specific rate on a RC plane, RC boat, RC> RC RC car or truck. The receiver accepts the same frequency signal from the transmitter to control the device. RC used daily by industry, military, medical and law enforcement.
Ready to fly ready to fly or RTF:
Go to a factory pre-assembled RC airplane, RC plane or helicopter ready to be called right to fly out of the box. Normally the match is very small (great for those like me with two left thumb) andwhen the battery is ready to serve.
Ready to ride, ready to ride RTR:
Used to define even a radio controlled product that does not fly, but go on land or water RC. Cars, buggies, boats, trucks and tanks and hovercrafts (I have not decided on a hovercraft air or runs) fall into this category. These elements are pre-assembled at the factory with the Assembly need little or none. A RTR as RTF is easy to start, only managed to leave.
2 channels, three channels and 4 channels:
The radio transmitter and send signals to the receiver object RC. Each channel controls a function. For example, an airplane 2 channel, is one of the channels in the motor speed control, and a second channel to control the rudder. A 3-channel RC airplanes would check the engine, rudder and elevator areas. A four-channel flight control as an airplane 3 channel is added with a channel for the aileron control surfaces. RC car> RC buggy, RC truck tank or RC controlled similarly. One channel controls the RC car speed, while a second control back and forth, and third channel would control the movement left and right.
As you can see, is not that complicated. It takes time to understand the terminology so easily joked about, remember that not all familiar with the conditions.
